Dr. S. Mark Taylor MD, FRCS(C), FACS


DrMTaylor_homepageTeacher of Honour of the 23th International Course in Modern Rhinoplasty techniques will be Dr. S. Mark Taylor MD, FRCS(C), FACS. Dr. S. Mark Taylor has been practicing Facial Plastic Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery for the last 6 years in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1995 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the same institution in 2000.

This was followed by a one year fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery / Advanced Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University in 2001.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada), the American College of Surgeons, the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is Board Certified in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Taylor was named the 700th Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and received an Anderson prize for third highest aggregate score in the Facial Plastic Surgery Board examination.

He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery and Director of the Section of Head and Neck Surgery/Reconstructive Surgery at Dalhousie University.
